Personally, I'd like to see it as a line item veto kind of thing so the entire EC approval is not held up, only those that may be a n issue for the AB.

Subject: [Bylaws-l] Question from a member...
While we're waiting for the last couple of votes to come in on BRC-04, I had a question come to me from Aaron Murphy in regards to the AB approval of a CS-elect's selected team. This is probably something that we can document in the MHB when we get to that part of things, but I wanted to get the thoughts out there now (as I promised Aaron that I'd present it to the committee after the current vote.)
The way that we'd written it, the CS-elect would propose an EC to the AB for approval as a single list. If the AB has a concern with a single proposed EC member, will:
- the entire list be rejected and have to be re-submitted; or
- will it be a line item veto, kind of a "The slate is approved with the exception of Jane Member and Joe Snuffy, please consider replacements for these individuals."
Again, this is more of a MHB type question, but which of these scenarios would likely happen?
